Fishing Merchant can be summoned to a room using the Pile of chum guaranteed drop. Or they can be found before that, in a house in the Wilderness. They sell fish and fishing accessories.
Overcoming the bosses requires a keen sense of strategy, so strengthen your character with purpose or Core Keeper Gameplay suffer a swift end to your journey.

It’s a great value at $13, but don’t let it overstay, either. Just because you can automate rare scarlet ore mining with a drill, conveyor belt, and a robot arm, that doesn’t mean you strictly “need to.” It can feel like progress for progress’ sake.
